My name is Wonko, and I’ve been plowing virtual fields since 2008—mainly because it’s less backbreaking than the real thing. Over the years, I’ve created two maps for FS15, one of which, Smokedown Farm, achieved legendary status (at least with the two people who liked it—cheers to you both!). These days, I’m locked in mortal combat with Giants’ gatekeepers, trying to slide a FS22 map past them without losing my sanity. Meanwhile, I’ve also started tinkering with FS25, where the only thing harder than designing a map is deciphering Giants’ documentation—or lack thereof!
A few moons ago, I started a forum called PCSG. It blossomed into a thriving hub for Farming Simulator fans, hosting mods (back when ModHub was still in diapers) and even venturing into other sims like Euro Truck and American Truck Simulator. But life got busy, and I handed the reins to someone with grand plans. Sadly, those plans took a mysterious detour, and the forum disappeared faster than my patience during a Giants Editor crash. It was a disappointment, but hey, you live, you learn, and you plant again.
Fast forward to now: after some friendly prodding from DirtyTracor Doctor, BrummieFarmer, and a few other fine folks (you know who you are), I’ve decided to dive back in and give this forum thing another go. FarmSim-Global is my fresh start—a place just for Farming Simulator fans to come together, swap stories, share mods, and commiserate over why that one worker still can’t figure out how to turn at the end of a field.
When I’m not herding virtual cows, I run a small building company with my eldest son. Together, we keep the real-world tractors rolling, fund my Farming Simulator addiction, and ensure my wife’s G&T glass never runs dry (a full-time job, really).
